I'm Victor, a software engineer focused on building products that feel simple, fast, and obvious to use, even when the systems behind them are complex.
For the past several years, I've worked on software used by millions of people every day, with a focus on Apple platforms and system experiences. My work has included windowing and app presentation systems, file and document experiences, and interactions that sit close to the core of the operating system. I care deeply about responsiveness, clarity, and the small details that make software feel polished.
What motivates me most is shaping tools and interfaces that disappear behind the experience. I like solving hard technical problems, but I'm especially interested in the moment where engineering decisions become something people can feel: smoother interaction, clearer behavior, better performance, less friction.
I'm drawn to products that sit at the intersection of systems, design, and human behavior. That usually means working on infrastructure and architecture, while staying obsessed with the user-facing result. I enjoy thinking through tradeoffs, refining product details, and building with a high bar for quality.
Outside of day-to-day engineering, I'm interested in personal tools, interface design, AI products, and the future of human-computer interaction.
This site is a place where I share selected work, ideas, and the kinds of products I want to build more of.
